Anupam Nigam (“Defiance”), Brian Hamilton (“Robson Arms”) and Zach Lipovsky (“Dead Rising: Watchtower”) also serve as executive producers. “MECH-X4” was created by executive producer Steve Marmel (“Sonny with a Chance”). Alyssa Jirrels (“Girl Meets World”) will be featured in season one of the series and will join the cast as a series regular in the second season of “MECH-X4.” Also starring are Raymond Cham (“Teen Beach 2”) as Ryan’s older brother Mark, the team’s mechanic Kamran Lucas (“Girl Meets World”) as Ryan’s friend Harris who operates MECH-X4′s defense systems and Pearce Joza (“Lab Rats”) as Ryan’s friend Spyder who controls the robot’s weapons. Newcomer Nathaniel James Potvin stars as Ryan Walker. We’re excited to launch this new genre of epic action-adventure storytelling that will undoubtedly be a water cooler show for kids.” He added, “This is the first live-action series for Disney XD that stars a 150-foot giant robot.” In making the announcement, Bonnett said, “The creative vision for the series has been clear from the get-go.
